Working hard to drop terminology “scratch your own itch” from my #IndieWeb vocabulary. Doesn’t seem to fit D&I goals. Not due to etymology or history. More personal experience. Seems to be a phrase that doesn’t resonate with women.

I am not gonna force my choices on others. Just going to be more intentional in my word choices to help create a reality that strives for greater equity in tech. Self-dogfood ex of phrase thatresonates with developer crowd but maybe not wider public. (jgregorymcverry.com/7480-2/)
