Really helpful text editor but not double frame, where you code on one side and see changes on the other, like thimble or a triple like jsfiddle, a raising hand option for students (can’t wait to try), good GitHub integration

But mainly built upon a spirit of remixing code in fun maker ways.

Working on the syllabus

Thinking nine columns with x rows, first element in 2nd cell spanning one cell, maybe a ul element in third cell spanning two cells, and the third element in in the fifth cell spanning 2 cells.

Not sure if I want the lines but I am sure I could add a bottom border to the grid row,

@chrisaldrich do you have a copy of your updates to the pressme plugin? I know it’s just changing two words per post-kind in each bookmarklet but I am feeling extra lazy and just want to copy or upload yours.

1. The explanatory text is nice, but runs a bit long for the uninitiated. I'm always worried that the length turns folks off? Perhaps something shorter for the gist of the idea with a link instead to a particular page… https://t.co/F2wspOM8e1

Back to editing the CSS Grid syllabus. Once I am done layout. I will add content. Then I will go back and just a little bit of stuff to the html that could theoretically allow #literacies educators to create a network where we share regardless of publisher or platform. #highered

I wish I was as bad as you I have never even tried before. This is a great resource. was just going to open up each file side by side to each other and try to make them match.

Even if I never get a fork working just understanding how the major templates are marked up without getting to any functions I will feel like a success.

I am continuing my 14 day experiment of trying to pump all my web interactions through my WordPress blog.

Things are going well. I redesigned my site and added a post-kind menu.

micropub

Still no micropub functionality so I can’t use a client to publish posts on my site. Not a big deal, and smart people like David Shanske are on it. It is strange as it seems to be affecting us with a WordPress install on ReClaim Hosting. Don’t have enough data to draw any conclusions but some folks with the same exact .htaccess files on different providers do not have MicroPub problems and the three people I know om ReCaim are getting header authorization errors.

Will get it working.

Bridgy

I am hoping to spend some time under the hood with the Bridgy for WordPress plugin. I don’t like the way it displays tweets I reply too.

I probably won’t have the skills to totally figure it out and I think it might be WordPress trying to natively display tweets but we will see.

If I can’t get better functionality with Tweet replies I will have to go back to my old workflow.

Revising Popular Themes

I did a cognitive lab yesterday with a potential user (a student so even though data is released in Public Domain I want to get an IRB exemption before releasing data). He embeds so much media in sidebars he could never change themes. He also uses the third most popular theme. I know (it was my theme) it has some microformats that mess with the microformats2 plug in. I am wondering if I can do some outreach to the theme community and see if anyone wants to work on a child theme with me.
