@johnjohnston from @chrisaldrich It won’t fix emojis, which WordPress can choke on in a variety of ways. In those cases If I *really* want an emoji to appear, I’ll look up the hexadecimal html code for the emoji and use that instead. It’s a pain to look them up, but it’ll work.
