If we want something we can build it.
I understand where the folks from Ghost are coming from yet I think we need to shift the needs of open source a bit from the individual and more to a collective good.
I support scratching your own itch and know it is probably they most powerful motivator when learning.
Yet in order for Open Source to work we need to expand beyond the dev community while also maximizing the number of pathways into development.
Otherwise Open Source will always be a space suffering from diversity and filled with tools the general public can ever use.
