While all generalizations bad “scratch your own itch” just doesn’t seem to be phrase used among underrepresented people. Saying “scratch your own itch” like describing a pointless debate as “pissing contest.” Worse phrases turns folks away (https://t.co/ABjK6lrjXU)
I am not going to push(atelast not hard) that others in the #IndieWeb community stop using the phrase, it is deep in the DNA, and high in the principles. Personally I am going to choose different phrasing. If folks follow cool, if not, cool.
