Was told to score someone lower for using a plural pronoun to refer to a single student instead of he. I don’t call that bad oral grammar. I call that inclusive. (https://t.co/EMDp0Aw3Qv)
I must add the vendor was quite respectful of both points faculty brought up. They said they were unaware plural pronouns were now acceptable as gender neutral single pronouns and would change their manual.

There’s a little hope there, but it also feels like pandering: anything to keep their assessment instrument in the mix; anything to validate assessing things like ‘dispositions’ in the first place.
