thoughts on this, #UWinDig? the connection btwn classroom tech & passive learning is one we'll be working against in all we do over the next few weeks. 🙂 https://t.co/fO0SpItxg1
The web is almost 30 years. It is older than almost every pre-service teacher in my classroom. The fact that teachers do not feel confident is due to three decades of poor leadership and bad hiring and retention policies.

still interested in how the article maps against pre-service teachers’ feelings & experiences, which are pretty varied. many have strong personal digital practices, but plenty of reasons – personal & systemic – for limited use/exposure to professional digital practice.
Agree. demonstrate to pre-service teachers that it isn’ technology problem. it isn’t #CS4All but #LiteracyForAll. They teachers grew up as the siloed generation, no open web. Step one: #DoOO Can’t shape truth till you shape your own. (jgregorymcverry.com/6669-2/)
