Yeap, mf1-to-mf2 is a longevity ( https://t.co/cxM1tI0lXR ) fail all within ~5 years. Those things happened simply because while mf on paper is an "open" community, in practice it was/is hierarchical / centralised development.

Sure, if the values are upheld in practice. Then again, those values are not unique to IW, and many of us have been practicing (technically/evangelism) far before IW… all meanwhile promoting the type of consensus and architecture that W3C offers, instead of clear out rejecting
